Odd shaped trailer hitch receiver? Rectangle vs square

My maxima has a Hidden Hitch on it, but when I look under at it to buy a tongue/ball, it's a rectangle vs square. Am I missing a piece to install a tongue or maybe this is an older style?

Is there a brand sticker or stamp on the hitch ?

Manufacturer specific piece.... Not uncommon.

Yeah I looked but couldn't see much of anything. Never thought it would be mfr for a hitch but it does make sense. At least if I were to get another one looks like they are only $170ish. Still would rather find one that would work.

Hidden Hitch is the brand.
The piece you need is a very specific size and shape and is not standard.

Need to get it from them.

I would assume standard. My G35 had a Curt brand hitch with a 1" receiver and 2" ball for my harbor freight trailer.

I had one similar to that for a long time.
I may even still have the hitch for it.
I can look around if you don't find something.

Those 2x5/8" ones have been discontinued a long time ago. Dunno if any store would have them anymore. If you cant find one from here, you may just have to put a new hitch on with the standard 1 1/4" class I.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Nice offer .... but his receiver is non-standard and requires a custom piece.

I don't believe yours would fit.

when searching use the term flat bar for the style of receiver. "hidden hitch flat bar ball mount"
