my latest custom gun project

On my TRP 1911 operator, well I love the skate board grips that come with it, and they do look bad ass, but I wanted something alittle bit more in your face for when I go to combat or competition shoots.

SO after 8 hours of looking for what someone told me were some killer grips for paintball gun, I finally found them.

Took me a couple more hours, to mill and hone out the grips, and chop them down a touch for this 45 cal.

Well, I am just about done just need to buff them up more where I did some honing, and FIND SOME DAM SCREWS that fit the 1911, the screws are like M4's but even finer metric thread, so now this odyssey for a screw hunt might take me a while.

but here they are and what ya think?
pretty bad ass huh?

thanks guys, actually its a touch bigger gripping it around, but drawing it ,and presenting and 2 handed gripping, is no problem for me.

its more for show then anything, it feels, like my 92fs brigadier with the hogue grips, big and locked in with the finger notchs, but these grips dont have that, just the larger feel.

all and all i rate it a 7 in grip feel, and 10+ in looks.

the original grips i rate a 10 in grip! and 7 in looks.

That looks sweet, I am into having weapons and all but I don't know jack-shit about guns, but would like to learn though. Me and my brother are huge sword collectors we got like over 15 so far, they all are different in sizes and weight. I love paintballing too

Nice looking 1911...If I'd known you were into action pistol shoots, I would have let you known about the ones they have up @ Bristol WI over the summer (plus they have 100 & 200 yard long gun ranges and a separate trap area)

Since your'e into modifying, do you know if there's a conversion kit for a Delta Elite from 10mm to 40s&W or 45ACP?

Look, I can appreciate this. I was young too, I felt just like you. Hated authority, hated all my bosses, thought they were full of shit. Look, it's like they say, if you're not a rebel by the age of 20, you got no heart, but if you haven't turned establishment by 30, you've got no brains. Because there are no story-book romances, no fairy-tale endings. So before you run out and change the world, ask yourself, "What do you really want?"
