I've had my 22 pistol since I was a kid. I used to shoot with my dad all the time.

But as you all know just recently I've been getting back into it and starting to aquire new toys.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

I had my .22s when I was in college, but was never around to shoot them,

It wasn't until this year that I joined a range with my dad and started going regularly.

Still need alot of practice especially with the .45 handgun

2 years. First gun that i got was a Desert Eagle IMI 9mm when i was 16. My pops gave it to me as a way to make me grow up. Now i own an HK USP Compact, and a Walther P99 and the Deagle. Haven't fired the Walther and the HK yet. Also, i usually go to Outdoor World in Gurnee to go shooting. Can ya guys list a place to go besides Gurnee? Another question. On my Deagle, it has a clip with 17 rounds, and another with 13. Isn't there a law where a clip is only supposed to hold 10?

As soon as I learned about life & death, and where hamburgers come from, I was taught how to handle a gun. My Step-Dad and I went out with a half dozen different weapons, and he let me shot as many shots out of each as I wanted... the whole time demonstrating and talking about safety, and how you only aim at something if you intend to fire. I think the biggest gun we took was a 9mm. All in all, it was the BEST way to educate a kid about firearms. He could've left a loaded pistol out in the open without having any worries about myself or my brothers getting in trouble with it.
