who rides around PORTAGE PARK area????? All the other riders that I usually ride with are in the burbs and personally I am getting tired of going up there to ride with them!!!!!

Hey,

I’m in Jefferson Park, although I don’t cruse the streets in the area.

I’m not sure if it’s me but most of the riders I have come across in this area are not the friendliest.

I haven’t been out too much this year but I used to ride with members of this board on weekends and hang with some people on the Southside on Friday’s.

I ride down Central every morning on my way to work. I live closer to the old Brickyard. I head North towards Skokie.

jefferson park is right there and yea i know what you mean by people not being friendly!!!! we all should get together and ride!!

Nah, you just need to learn Polish.

I'm just a bit west of Javio1 by Grand/Harlem. I grew up in the Portage Park area right down the street from Tony and Lill's pizza on Irving Park and Leamington, and graduated from OLV, so I'm very familiar with the area.

By any chance.. Did you grow up in that area (Portage Park)? I lived in that area for several years.

I have lived in both the Jefferson Park and Portage Park areas, and I can tell you that these are no places to get a good ride. I can't believe that you are tired of riding out to the 'burbs...there's so much more access to actual places to RIDE.

I don't know about you, but I have NO interest in riding within the city...I like to go faster than 30 mph and prefer to get more than 15 miles a night on my bike.

i live in between portage and jefferson. Havent really come across too many sportbike riders. i would be up for a ride sometime.
