Hey, that's :ot But..
Yeah, and I'll be out of the area with Army stuff.. 4 freakin' hours in two days again.
Jack is the total shit..great antihero. Only thing I know about it is that Chloe is the only member other than Kiefer confirmed to be offered to come back. Sadly, they still haven't contacted me about being Chloe's love/lust interest :(

Builds suspense and also allows them time to make more episodes. 3 months is a long freakin time though. They did that crap a couple years ago with 24..show 2 episodes, then have to wait a month for the next one. This year they finally just started the show in January instead of the traditional October/November. It gave them a couple extra months to work on the script and it showed since last season was the best one yet. And if Tony's back on that show, then that's :1pimp . Increases the likelyhood of him doing some deep undercover work outside of the country.
This prison break show is starting to peak my interest though. I might just have to set up TIVO to get it.
I am SOOOOO glad I'm not the only one that thinks it's BULLSHIT to end it like that and and this time. hell it was only suppose to be a mini series now gotta wait til march:mad :bangin :50cal :2sniper

no that was the last episode until March, this wasnt suppose to be a series. they were gonna do a mini series to see how the ratings did, im assuming they did very well if they are turning it into a regular series.

Man that sucks!!!
But Jack is back and that makes this a happy moment still bause 24 is waaaay better than prison break even though prison break is a good show.

The guy's name was Matthew Houbrick and he was not the producer, despite what the media said. Houbrick was the production accountant. Unfortunately no one cares if the accountant dies. :laughing

I couldn't believe they ended it like that either what a bunch of BS
I just caught the last 3 or 4 episodes and liked the show.
I was suprised when they introduced DB Cooper, (a Good Old movie in itself)
although his character was much slimeyer then the movie.
( Laughing at the big screen vs sofa comfort side drama)
I can just hear it now.. but Krys... no payments until 2007

I watched the finale last night, although I haven't watched the rest of the season. All I could say at the end was I'm glad I didn't waste my time watching the rest of that season. I have enough problems with Lost not answering questions. At least their finale and season opener answered questions.
Big thumbs down to this show for ending a season like that.

Jack is the lead character on 24, the show that is also referenced in this thread. He is played by Kiefer Sutherland, and this show might as well be cocaine flowing from the TV to your eyeballs. Incredibly suspenseful, great casting, Jack is always solving the world's problems, and I love it when there's an interrogation room. It takes its name from 24 hours in a day. The season is 24 episodes, each episode being one hour in real time (more or less, they do play with it, sometimes as much as 10 minutes).

Sorry, the "Fall Finale"...still have to wait 4 months to find anything out whether it's a full season or not :P

Keyhole stated it finally... 3 pages in. :)
It's the "fall finale". There's been a small revolution in tv the last few years and seasons aren't the same as they used to be. Now we get a full season that's split into "mini seasons"... or "half seasons". This was the "fall finale" The rest of the season is 2-3 months down the road and then we'll have the "summer finale". Other good examples of this are most of the new SciFi channel stuff. SG1, Atlantis and Battlestar Galactica are all in their fall hiatus too and restart in January.
In some ways it's better because there's much fewer of the small breaks we used to get where we'd have 3-4 weeks worth of reruns during the season. Now they tend to just show 8-10 episodes all the way through (unless interrupted by ball games or somesuch) and then take a 2-3 month break and then do the same thing with the second half of a season.
Just be glad we don't live in the UK where the average season lasts 5-7 episodes and then you have to wait 9-10 months for the next season. :)

South Park has been doing half seasons for a long time

Yeah... For the last 3-4 years. About the same with Stargate SG-1. I've also seen a hell of a lot of mid season series as well. Series that start in January/February. That part of the season used to be reserved for mid-season replacement shows that would fill in for shows that were cancelled (like Threshold just was. crap...) Now it almost appears to be an alternate season opening time.
When I was a kid you knew that all new series and new seasons started in late august to mid september. Now, you never know when a network is going to spring a new series on you. :)

I vote Jack for president. He would be the first guy volunteering to stick it up the enemy's butt, a true hero.
:laughing
Yea all the good shows are ending now... what to do!?!?I must take this opportunity to say that there's still 5 more episodes of Nip/Tuck and, although this season has, by far, been the absolute worst of the three, they're taking strides to redeem themselves with the last episode. I'm actually looking forward to tonight's.

Do what I do and record series that you don't watch but would... if you had time... Then when the mid season hiatus/summer hiatus happens... You still have fresh stuff to watch. :)
I'm only now about halfway through season one of Lost. :)

+1 I have a clue about what Prison Break is, but am totally lost on who Jack is. The only thing I can come up with is "You don't know Jack" and I thought that was a game.
I told you that you were bright.

You have to get started now Kanati, I missed the first season, and didn't catch on till Season 2, but have been hooked ever since. I'm starting to watch some of the earlier episodes on TV and seeing how Jack has evolved, which is pretty cool. If you start now, you will be just in time for the new season. When they finally Start Sopranos up again, I will have to re-watch a lot to catch up again.

I had heard that sopranos wasn't renewed for a new season...
Guess that's changed very recently. Looks like a March 2006 date for season 6. :)
