Well Maybe im not so new but I just got an E-mail asking people with 0 Posts to Post something. LOL

Anyways dont know how many of you live in Lake Co. or McHenry Co. But I live in Wauconda (lake). Dont know if any of you guys or gals know were that is (small town with nothing to do). I have been riding for 2 years but just got my sport bike in june road a Hardley (sportster 883) B 4 that (sorry). Then I had my first 4 hour ride on a 96 YZF 600 and went and bought my rocket 2 days later :laughing (I saw the light) But I not a squid by any means. I never ride with out at least, My arai, gloves, mesh jacket and boots. I have put 7500 Miles on my Brand new 02 Gix 750. I love to do wheelies and stoppies, not a hard core stunter with tank wheelies and all but I enjoy them none the less. I would like to meet up with all of you Guy/Gals and do some ridding or just hang out and chill. I keep hearing about twistys in Il. Were are you guys riding to find these because I love to tear it up in the turns. I have quite a few people that I ride with that would like to get into some group rides. Mostly Suzuki guys but have some hondas and a R6.

Sorry for the long Post But Hey Im done Lurking now.

Charlie

Ken, Wauconda has a couple more turns than that. I ride around there regularly. Granted, my route is no LITH run, but its got a couple good parts. I need to find a few more spots so I can make a decent route that avoids the straights so much. All the twisty parts have long straight stretches of road in between them!

Have to watch out for the mud on that one. Damn tractors around there can make it pretty bad. Clear one day, hell the next.

:ot
Generally don't post road locations on the board. Save it for PMs.

Sorry didnt know about not posting roads. Ill fix it.

But yeah the mud and gravel can be tricky sometimes have to scout it out b 4 you ride it. But I did ride it back and forth about 8 times on my buddys R6 till the cops chased me out. :nono

me and a bunch of my buddys are going from feb 28 thru march 10th

We are looking for a good priced hotel or sumthing we really dont want to sleep in the motorhome.

We will be driving down there in the motorhome towing a 24' enclosed trailer.

If there are more than 3 of you going, you'd be getting a lot more 'bang for the buck' by renting a house or townhouse - a lot more space and privacy... a lot nicer... and a lot more secure (most come with a garage). The hotels are gonna be gouging because it's Bike Week. Our condo last year cost about the same as a hotel would have, but it was on a whole 'nuther level of niceness.

Do you have any phone numbers or web sites for info on condos and what not?
