Thanks everyone! Kim.. yeah I was looking around for something to do on the net and I came upon this place. Good thing I found it or else I'd have to actually work. :)

Yep! read the other post about your RS125. Planning to do some CCS rounds this year? There's quite a few 125's so you should have a lot of fun in GP Singles. Look me up at the track.. I may be 374 or just 74 this year. :)

Where are you from? Don't even worry about your fist top rebuild. You'll be able to do it in your sleep. It's the bottom end rebuild that's going to take some work. Make sure you have a crankcase pressure testing kit. You don't want your motor sucking in hot air and seizing. You really really don't want to seize a single cylinder motor. It'll throw you on your head before you even realize what happened!:D Also you need an ignition timing gauge so you can set your timing after you disassemble your crankcase. Your bike probably is in need of a new crank since it was raced all last season no? Let me know if I can help you in any way. More GP bikes at the track the merrier :thumbsup

I'm waay north - just a little west of Gurnee and Great America. I'll have to double-check the notes, but I think he replaced the crank near the end of the season... but now I'm not sure that I think about it. I do know for a fact that a have a brand new one in an un-opened box, I'll send the old owner a note and ask about the crank that's in the bike (unless Mark remembers?) but for some reason I remember him saying it was good to go... better figure that one out huh? :)
As for the seizing thing - the last owner also told me he usually covered the clutch with a finger in case he seized it... welcome to the world of singles eh? :laughing
Thanks very much for your offer to help, I might just take you up on it. I have _no_ special tools yet, other than the ones that cames with the spares. I've been checking out ebay but I don't know what a good deal is so I'm a little lost. I am however, almost done with my much too large (rs125 friendly) workbench :thumbsup
