looking to borrow/rent a trailer

Looking to transport a bike for a rebuild from the north side of the city to the south suburbs (Kankakee area). Need to borrow/rent an open or closed trailer for a day (or at least a couple of hours). Batt is dead & bike is HEAVY so anything with a ramp would be GREEAAAAT! Does anyone have one I can borrow? or can anyone point me in the direction of getting one?

(p.s. I promise to check my own thread this time. )

Uhaul or Arlington Motorsports I believe rents them.

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

What are you gonna haul it with? Hitch size might help find someone willing to let you use their trailer.

I didn't know there was a size? I would get normal size? lol i know that might not help much, but it seems it's standard ball mount size.

thx, but they are difficult to obtain. most uhaul locations are out and one can't rent them online, much less see what other locations might have them.

If you do a search online for uhaul it should pull up where the motorcycle trailers are. Last time I looked anyways. About a month ago.

Also ball size And hitch matters if you are going to rent/borrow. most are 1 7/8 or 2"

Need to ask the person that is using their vehicle to tow with.

thx. I must've been blind to not see that. if anyone needs it for future reference, here's the link to the part of the U-haul site where they rent out the trailers (open and closed): http://reservations.uhaul.com/resweb...ilerQuote.aspx
