called ipass and they said you don't have to add the trailer if the plate has "TA" or "TB" . the dude said it will just be charged along with car.

called my insurance company and they said the trailer is covered along with the liability.

now for actual coverage of the trailer i was quoted under 15 for the year w/100 deduc

your welcome

i want to drink, but only to kill a certain few brain cells and i don't care how many i have to take out to get to them.

Yup, driven through Ipass under the same direction (I called Ipass to make sure if I needed to register the trailer plate, they said the toll would just be added to the car plates) Well so far I've towed the trailer through a few times, and never been charged for Ipass use, and no bill in the mail for missed tolls either. So IDK whats up with that. I am pretty sure that because it is an enclosed trailer if your Ipass transponder is not in the truck (which mine was not...opps) They can't get a pic of the towing vehicles plate, and maybe they just get lazy and don't pursue it?

But, when I towed with my dad's truck, he got charged the typical rate(50 cents), nothing extra for the trailer, but if you go through the cash lane it was like $1.50. So go through the fast lanes anyways

I'm from Wisconsin, so no plate on the trailer. Fuck IL.

I've only gotten charged for the vehicle. Now that time when I forgot my iPass, got stuck in a toll, requiring Jason to sprint 100 yards backward through rush hour traffic............

Now that time, I got FUCKED. It was like $4.50 for the car and trailer for one toll.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Fucker we have covered this before. Living in a trailer in Romeoville is against city code. I live in a townhouse, that's .5% up from a trailer, and tied for a double wide.
