Personally, I far prefer L-Track. I have four rows of it the entire length of my trailer. I LOVE it.

L track? I google it and come up with airline track same stuff?

If it is its not gonna work for the way im doing the decking, Im going with expanded steel over the frame adn using the 2 strips of etrack to space out the strips of expanded steel since it comes in 4' wide sheets and my trailer is 5'

Hey Jason,

wanna ask them if they'll make us a deal if we order together?
etrailer.com is a bit cheaper too and free shipping on orders over $150... just sayin'

I need 8' lengths of track as my trailer is that long and was hoping to avoid joints/seams in the decking that go across the trailer.

Ill call em and see if they have the long stuff

Mcmaster carr would have guaranteed no shipping as Id just pick it up at their will call office on my way home from work

i know they are local, just saying if they would match the price, since if we ordered together, we wouldn't be paying the shipping with etrailer either...

i'd take 2 or 3 x 10' later two more

and online would be tax free.

see if we could get it for maybe $30 out the door per 10' OTD. means including tax... (just sayin' bc there are salesmen who don't really know what OTD means...)

No dice on pricing reductions

were not ordering enough at this point even at 8 total

Ill keep looking for other local places at this point since I stripped the rest of the trailer last night and will be cutting the steel for the deck extension today

W00t

found a non local supplier that will ship the 10's to me
http://www.uscargocontrol.com/etrack...ted-p-184.html

19.75 per stick of 10 feet
I have shipping quoted for 8 pieces being $45.42 to my work freight dock

total being $203.42 or $25.42 per stick

I thought you were making an open trailer, why do you need so much? Or are you being sneaky and building multiple trailers?

1 trailer, 3 or 4 track rails

the rails do 2 things for me
1) take up decking space since the trailer is 5 ft wide and sheets of material that im gonna use for the deck are 4ft
2 lots of available tie down points for various trailer configs be it 1 or 2 bikes, or with the chocks removed for utility usage

here is what im thinkin = is the etrack and x is the decking
=xxx=xxx=
=xxx=xxx=
[]=xxx=xxx=[]
=xxx=xxx=
=xxx=xxx=

or

=xx=x=xx=
=xx=x=xx=
[]=xx=x=xx=[]
=xx=x=xx=
=xx=x=xx=

the rest is for SG for her trailer
