It was pretty fricken cool. I would say about 750 people or so where in attendance lining the streets of West Branch MI. I beleive there where a total of 50 racers. I am not exactly sure where I finished as I packed up and had to go asap after the race but I am guessing mid pack. I started dead last as I was the last one to sign up and they gridded by time of sign up. I worked my way up about 5 postions off the start but in the second corner going into the dirt section I got pinched off and stalled my bike. I need to learn to be more agressive I guess LOL. Well it took my a little bit to get it started but I got it done and took off. the race was 12 laps and I was pretty tired by the end off the race. They had a huge table top down the front straight on main street and the crowd loved it watching everyone jump through the air. The atmosphore was very energenic as they had music playing on huge speakers for everyone and also the beer was flowing for the audience.

Also the annoucer was getting into it and also getting the crowd into it. Zac finished in first place in the pro race and won $1000 I beleive. He busted open a bottle of champane in our pits. I pitted with Tyler, Phil, Zac and Mickenzies dad (for the life of me I cannot remember his name). We all had a blast but also agreed the track could have been longer and there was more dirt then pavemnet which did not play into my roadracing style. I had to ride foot out. I will definatly do it again next year. This was the first year for the event (them closing the city streets and us racing on public roads) and I think the town and fans LOVED it. It was the last day of there bike week I believe and there where a ton of fans.

Tnat sorry I did not respond to your phone calls. I lost my phone and did not find it till yesterday night.

Here are some pics I took with my cellphone. Sorry for no video or not alot of pics. I was hot and I was busy with getting unloaded and practice so i wasn't carring my camera around.

Pics of our pits

a pic of part of the dirt section

You can see in the last pic how the race was lined with people. There are not many on the front side of the dirt section because they had the pits closed off to crew and racers only so the fans could not get into the pits. The crowd lines the perimiter of the whole race track.

I was glad I did not crash but was dissapointed that it cost me almost a lap to start my bike after it died only 2 corners into the race. I had to play catch up the whole race after that. All in all it was a great time and I cannot wait till the next one!!!!!!!
