Considering a trade...

What do you guys think? Should I trade the Aprilia off for this? I'm a little hesitant but I think it would be worth it.

LOL! I'm a little absent minded, just got off a red all night flight.

The Yamaha is a 2007 YZF450 that also has the supermoto setup. The guy says it has the big front rotor and carrier for the front brake. Claimed hours on the bike 50. The exhaust is new.

What do you think? Worth a straight up trade? I'll trade him straight up for the 2004 Aprilia. Not sure yet though. I'd rather have a DRZ400 I think.

Hard to believe that the Ape is worth the same as the YZ . Its simple , if you cant use the Ape , but can use the YZ , do it .

Does the Ape have a clean title? Streetable?

Miles/Hours on both?

You can pick up a DRZ for CHEAP these days. If you wanted a DRZ (I kinda do too), I'd sell the Ape beforehand and lowball the fuck out of someone local. Alternatively, if you can get the Ape back to street legal form, trade the Ape plus a LARGE chunk of change on their end.

Are your plans with the DRZ to track it or street it?

I want to stand on the seat and do wheelies with the DRZ. The APE has a salvage title.

I think I'm going to pass on the YZF. It's not what I really want.

That YZ with both set up is worth about $4500 (my guess) so what it comes down to is what is your Ape worth? - I would not rule out a 450 over a DRZ - They are fun but so is a lighter and more powerful 450

I think you're going to have a tough time selling the Ape for what it's worth. But if your set on a DRZ, than you're just going to want to sell the YZ. I'd hold out if I were you.

The DRZ is indeed bullet proof but I am telling ya, for the street or track, I am pretty confident that you would be more happy with a YZ or CRF or even a KX - Most RMZs are only 4 speeds so I would stay away

Maybe not that YZ but that bike is not all that bad Bro - Not sure what you want slash need for the Ape but I would lve to see ya on a 450

We should chat about my yz290 frankenbeast. Already has the big super moto brakes on it too.

What you got in that garage you want to get rid of?
