northwoods gp classes

What bikes are competitive in the lightweight class? I'm guessing 250f's and drz400's, right?

Does anyone really run a 2t in lightweight? Something like a 150sx or a maybe a yz144?

What about the novice/touring class? Is that usually a full grid, or is it just a couple of bikes? It looks like novice runs at the same time as the lightweight races. Correct?

My 200 would put me in LW? Their site only lists the DRZ as being the expection for that class.

If my 200 could run LW then I'm good. I wasent too keen on having to run in HW with any bike

"Touring" is just running with the Sumo Lites now

Eric, one of the faster guys out there is on a KTM 200 2T and he is about to throw the 300 kit on it and he runs in the big class with us - He will get about 65rwhp out of a 215 lbs bike and he LOVES it - He could run it in the Lites but it would not even be fair

sure he's not on a 250?
there's a 300 top end kit for the 250, but no such thing for the 200. The 200 is just a big bore 125. completely different engine from the 250/300.

Maybe it is the 250 then - It is Ryan Konitzer and he has direct access to Mitch at HMC so he is always building something - This little bike of his is ALLLLLL done up and he is fast as hell on it

With him on that, Tyler on an HMC Race bike, Zac on his built CRF 450, Jess on Gary Trachey's old Yami and Phil on his Graves Yami 450, I am Definitley evenly matched with guys who ride Ice Year round and live 20mins to an Hour for Shawano

/sarcasm

do they still race LW and HW separately?
if so, might be worth it just to run a LW bike so you could also run the HW class for extra seat time.
