Finally a SM

2012 KTM 500 exc. This bike is a blast! I ordered a sm front fender and should have it today. Pay no attention to the messy garage.

Ive wanted a sumo for a long time. I decided on this one because I also wanted something I could take off road. I'd love to do a track day, I'm sure Id be really slow, as this is the first time Ive ridden one of these.

One day at the track will be worth SO much more than a full season on the street

We need to come up with a list of who has motards. That way I can send a PM out to everyone when we have a ride. or maybe a mass email/text.

Let's do it - We may also want to specify Track & Street as guys like Roman and Tony are track only - I may buy Roman a BRP just to get him back out there tho

Warp 9s are not bad at all - I would say on par with Excel but I am sure BH will say I am wrong

the warp9's are cheaper than high end wheels, but I've heard pretty good things about them though. I think Tnat might have a set for his YZ. For what it's worth, you can get a set of the Behr hardparts wheels for the same as what the Warp9s sell for on ebay - but they don't come w/ rotors and sprocket.

from the reviews I've read on SMJ, the Warp9s seem pretty good. the rotors/sprocket look pretty cheap though. fine for street duty I'm sure.

from what i hear none of the chinese wheels hold up well for MX use but should be ok for sumo duty
