Sugar River Raceway Vid - Last Round

Drink it in ladies as we will not be back at this circuit (ha) until next season

Looks like they let you cats run a few laps backwards? - How was it?

Runing it backward was good but I can definatly see it not being raced backwards. coming around the last corner to the front straight (going backwards) is scetchy as all hell running at a decent clip. While racing it would be a nightmare. Besides that it was fun running it backwards for practice after the races.

I did another personal best with laptimes during my races at Sugar river and had 2 2nd places. So far I have been on the podium every race but one that I have started. Also dropping my laptimes evertime I have raced. I finished only 3 seconds behind the winner Zac Rosine so I really stepped it up. Also I was able to drop to 37's which is a full second quicker than last race at SR. Tis was all on a front tire that I have been using since last year. I felt the front end wash out a couple of times in turn 1 and was able to save it and ride it out so I know I need to get fresh rubber up front before the Road America races with Superbikers2 and NWGP.

Here are the results for the first race

results for the whole day.

It was a very low turnout since alot of people are racing this coming weekend up at Shawno for the nationals. Unfortunatly I will not be able to make them.

Shit - I have to get my 16.5s from Tnat and they are Dunnies - Sorry Bro

As an FYI, the Michies are great too - I ran them up front on my '04 and the feel was/is spot on

Yeah well I am comfortable and smooth on Dunlops plus get a discount on them through Dunlop so I will continue to use them. Why mess with a good thing if I am able to click of lap times just about as good as the race winner.

Only way I would run something different is if I got it for free and was able to practice on it before a race. I am not gonna end up like Jesse at the last Shawano race.

Every supermot Dunlop I have used has been from early 2007 so the age of the tire is no excuse.

Just offering assistance if you can't find Dunnies which I hear are getting tougher to find for our size wheels
