Yeah I knew it too.
I talked myself right out of it yesterday morning.
I looked at who was listed as going (TNAT, you etc) and while I've ridden there I'm pretty slow, add 5 hours in the car talking to myself and I said screw it.

I really wanted to get my new bike sorted anyway. Glad you guys had a good time. Maybe next time.

All you guys need to stop worrying about not being up to speed and just get out there and ride. Thats the only way you will get faster and have fun. There was about 10 new people who have never rode a sumo and they came out and rode. Also there was a girl who never rode a motor cycle who came out and rode. There are limited amount of trackdays to do so missing one really sets you back until the next one comes around.

Stan did great and had a blast. He is looking to convert his dirt bike over so he can run that as a track sumo.

I had a chance to ride a 2012 YZ 450 set up with everything. Ohlins forks, shock, marchi rims, pipe, tune ect. Basically a bike just lie mine but 4 years newer lol. Talk about smooooth. love the FI

That Husker he is looking to convert is a 2T - Told him he may look to start on a 4 stroke to learn easier braking with the engine and such

Me riding the 2012 YZ 450. Not as much power as my 08 but alot smoother in power delivery.

Had about 30 bikes for the trackday. This was half. The other half was behind Ryan when he took this pic

Me and Stanimal loading up, he broke his motard trackday cherry.

I brough my street sumo out 08 Aprilia SXV 550. It have 3 year old tires on it but they worked since I didn't push it too hard. I think I am going to toss some slicks on it and see what it can really do on the track. Even though the stock suspention is shit it felt good ont he track with loads of power.

The 2 stroke will work just fine. Tnat was railing on his 2 smoke and it was hanging with us. I rode it and actually had more fun on it than my 4 stroke. Maybe because it was different. Shit a rebuild on a 2 smoke is pennies on the dollar compared to a 4 stroke. I told him I had rims of a 696 Ducati monster he can have if he can make them work. Tnat said he could machind hubs if need be.
