couple of upgrades

I got my FX preprinted number plates put on today. One step closer to raceday next weekend. I replaced my $$$$$$$$$ berringer master for a more crashable stock R1 master. I also installed some Acerbis handguards, which needed to be spaced out about 15mm to clear the clutch and brake levers.

An R1 master? How is the feel on that? What size piston and offset?

It's a 16x18 I believe and its a cast radial brembo. So far it needs more lever pull than the berringer, but then again the berringer is like the best master you can get so I new I would loose a bit. I'll see how well it works tomarrow at Norway. I also added an ASV rotator just for a little bit more insurance. Rob, you should bring up the KTM tomarrow to Norway. I know it's a drive for you, but the weather is going to be georgous and the track doesn't open til noon so you don't have to get up super early to get there in time.

Man, I'm tempted, real tempted. But its about $140 in gas.....

I'm actually trying to think of ways to make the trip worth it since I'll be moving up to the place in Naperville Thursday.

You could come up and ride all afternoon, then borrow my 14x7 enclosed trailer to haul all your bikes/stuff up on Thursday and I'd help you unload it Thursday night.........................
