Land of Lincoln First Race June 8th

We are also welcoming Mitch Stein to the promotion team and he is a big part of this thing coming together this season. As long as he doesn't try to award himself 2008 pitbike champ in advance we will be in great shape... Anyone who raced with us last year probably met Wink, the guy working the start/finish line and helping with tech. He may be the most dedicated part of Land of Lincoln Supermoto and as such he is another key to the 08 series happening.
While we're on the subject of pitbikes, we will be adding another class. It seems these little bikes have been a larger and larger part of the series, and as such, guys are taking it more seriously and spending more money. So, to match the changing trends, we will now offer the traditional Pitbike, and new for 08, Super Pitbike. Pitbike will cut off with the 160cc air-cooled 4-strokes or 65cc 2-strokes(liquid or air-cooled). Super Pitbike will allow up to 150cc liquid-cooled 4-strokes and 100c liquid-cooled 2-strokes. Now there have been far more calls and e-mails regarding pitbikes, so this could eventually lead to further class additions if demand requires.
We mentioned earlier in the year that we will offer a Pocketbike(pavement-only) class and that is still the plan. If we get enough entries, we will split the first race into 2 classes for the first race and remainder of the season. For anyone who is curious about what constitutes enough entries, we place 3 per race for trophies. So... If we get 6 pocketbikes with a clear point of division, that will be enough. If there are only 6, the two classes will probably run at the same time though.
All other details will be coming fast, so please keep checking brbpromotions.com
So who is gonna go?

I would consider this depending on who is going. I don't want to be out there with a broken collar bone all by myself.

You have a quad cab truck right? I should be able to use that same trailer again and we can split the gas save us all some money.

I'm probably going to sit this one out.

NHRA is running at Joliet that weekend along with AMA at Road America if I recall. I haven't been to an NHRA race in a few years and want to get a sniff of nitro.
