Is the land within about 30 minutes of Champaign? My family has a ready mix company there but we all know that concrete get's hard quickly and can't be transported very far.

You can have the Concrete Co. add retarders to the mix which will slow the hydration. This will allow the truck to travel farther.

I think you could have them add less or no accelerators until the truck arrives on site. Not sure about this part, but positive about the retarders.
