Jackson, MI this Sunday

I'm packing my stuff right now and heading over to Michigan after the Red Bull Flugtag is over.
Anyone down for some real supermoto riding tomorrow?

I'd like to hear your thoughts on the track.

I'm out. 570 miles roundtrip is a bit much for me on a sunday. Plus, the next 3 weekends will be motorcycle related, so I'm gonna spend some time with the woman. (GP, SBKS3, maybe CCS)

I'll be hitting New Castle on Monday.

I love that track. It's a little small but has a few nice turns you can back it in (or at least try to in my case) and a decent dirt section.
There's two more track days at Jackson after this weekend you should come out next time.

Yeah, probably the best trackday at Jackson so far!
It rained just a little in the morning so the dirt section was perfect the whole day.
About 20 guys showed up:

Even one girl that was actually riding pretty well:

My new big bore+cams pulled like a horse

I liked it even before I took it to the track
Now I just have to hope that the crank or valves don't snap. I'll be probably upgrading those this winter.

You should be fine on the crank end, those things are bullet proof, with the added power you wont be reving it as much and as high. Drz Cranks dont blow up. As far as the valves get some RHC 1 piece valves, i had them in my Drz a little extra but well worth the money. They dont blow up or separate. Just call Ron up he will spend some time with you to explain what to do, Super nice guy knows his shit and has tuned motors for alot of big time pros.

That's exactly what I was planning on doing.
When the weather goes definitely bad, I'll send my head to him for porting and valve/spring job.
