The 3hr was a lot fun. what a way to end the season. It was sad only 8 teams raced and it was such a perfect day. The turnout was awful. The dirt section was perfect. They shortened the dirt section and took out the whoops......only used the triple. Stew (311) was leading the race by 2laps and halfway his motor blew. Buettner was down 4laps early with a flat but finished 3rd overall. We finished 4th overall. We had 2nd for a while and 15mins left to go I lost the rear and lowsided. Lost a lap getting it restarted. It was disappointing but I still had a blast. It was the closest race they have had with pos. 2,3,4 were all on the same lap and only 50 sec separation. 1st place was 2laps ahead on a CRF250x. They only had to refuel once. The track wants to put on an 8hour endurance next year.......$10,000 purse.....may draw in some talent. All-in-all very fun time at a great track. Hopefully next year more people will come.

I didn't know anything about it until they mentioned it at the last sbker round, and just a few sketchy details.

Sounds like a great time! Maybe next year and a fresh motor, 3hrs on my motor could be explosive.
