Thanks Bill, I appreciate the offer. I'll consider it.
The Z has a new piston in right now. I wonder if it's a good idea to break it in at the track..

Youll be fine, From talking to Andrew Hyder - AMA Lite Pro he does a pretty simple break in procedure, Ill get all the info but its something like warm up bike run it hard for 1-2 mins, let cool for specified mins, do it again 2 or 3x thats it. He did it to all of his race bikes he built. His 250fs were putting out 44hp. Ill call him now.

Just talked to him - Heres the procedure he uses -

Stop watch needed
1 Choke on
2 Set idle a little high
3 Start and run for 15 seconds
4 Shut off let motor cool completely
5 Restart and run for 30 Seconds
6 Shut off let motor cool completely
7 Restart and run for 45 Seconds
8 Shut off let motor cool completely
9 Restart and run for 60 Seconds
10 Shut off let motor cool completely
11 Bike is ready to ride

According to Andrew, they did multiple Dyno runs and this procedure showed the highest dyno numbers on his bikes.

Hmm, from what I've heard, rings seat the best from the combination of hard accel and hard decel. Wish I had a dyno..

Just run it. I did the startup warmup shut down thing to break the YZ in. The next time it ran was at Norway. You'll be fine.

Oh by the way

Goon-RiderZ!

I'm in we just gotta figure a time.

I think so. I'll take the bike out on Saturday and break it in. It should be sunny and "mild" 32 degrees.
What time do you want to go? I'd go after dark..

Wow is there segregation between the supermoto and dirt guys? Seriously we've got to start posting Waterman trips in a single forum so we can all make regardless of what types of tires we have on our bikes.

Hope to catch up with some of you guys soon, this weekend is Saturday for me but maybe sometime soon.

I really wish the guys at Waterman accepted plastic. I have zero cash right now but I'll figure something out.
I wonder if all the locals are gonna point their fingers at me if I show up with slicks.

Who the hell suggested that kind of treatment? Roman?
Drink a glass of water with Emergen-c every day and you'll be fine.
