Tracy welcome, its Punisher1k from over on SMJ.

Now that I'm done being nice. This is a motorcycle forum, we don't care for quads much in this place.

Now wait for it ...................

if it helps keep the series alive and kicking, and it's not pushing out a viable bike class, I say let the quads run!

i like quads on trails. sure they rut the shit out of it, but they also widen the path and keep the branches from hitting me.

I agree with keeping the series alive. I just don't think quads are the way to do it. Not my series, and you guys know that I promote anything that has to do with Supermoto.

You know what...the quads are cool and have been a huge part of making the Stateline race a huge success. I would be pumped for them to be a part of the show. We need to make this a money making venture for the promotor and possible TV...Ifr quad bring mor attention...great.

They used to run the at SBK2 back in the early years, and they were at the amatuer day of a couple of the Nationals in '06. They are actually pretty cool to watch some of the top guys. They can get some pretty serious drift action going on the quads.

I would just be a little nervous with how narrow Springfield, if they end up going 2 wide through some of the corners, it could get interesting.

and BTW Tracy, welcome to the board. It looks like you are putting a lot of effort into keeping that series going. Since we lost our 1 semi-local Chicagoland track, we will try to bring a few truck loads of people down for a few of your events.

Keep us up to speed on any new developments.

Whatever you all are a bunch of Judas or is it Judai or Judasesss. Whatever I'm taking my ball and going home.

Out of everyone here I should be the one to take up quad supermoto, I've only dropped or crashed my bikes (well I lost count) but at least with a quad I don't have to worry about it falling over by itself.

Anyway we might as well merge this with the car forum since they talk about rally racing there. That pretty much is Quad Supermoto

The quad classes were pretty cool to watch at the last flattrack event I went to.

Still think they're for rednecks that are skeered of 2 wheels.

Tracy:

Thanks for all your hard work on this. Supermoto is a great sport and the people that participate are wonderful, so I hope to see you putting this on for a while to come. If quads are what makes it work then that is a great thing for the sport.

God knows that I don't try to do anything to help the sport.
Here is a little hint, search Land of Lincoln and you might see my name pop up here and there.

I'm gonna make it down to race this year, as Colin has noted he is gonna drag me down there. I can't wait for the season to start and look forward to checking out the series. Good Luck!

On a good note I did notice that the vet class is 30+ not that that helps me much because I'll always be slow vet class or not.
