I bet you make that thing look like a CRF50 when your riding it. Me I can barley sit on an XR650 I have to use a step stool.

I ride mine on the street!

You'll love it with 15 /40 gear it holds 80mph in it's sweet spot tucked on the highway.

50mpg.

less than 2 gallon tank.

She runs out of steam about 115 with some wind to your back.

But on the right road that bike in the right hands may be the fastest thing on wheels.

I own an L and an R

L is much more comfortable, makes good fun power stock responds well to mods. But it's a steet bike.

The R is a race bike that is corked up sold to joe citizen in desguise .It's safe like a rattle snake in a bag until you let it out.
It's much more like a big bore CRF450 than the L model

Man I'd love to get my hands on one. I had a KLR650 that I loved and regret selling. I'd like to pick up another XR/DR/KLR sometime

Damn. Certainly one of the nicest street supermotos around here.
Tom's the man, he's working on my forks as we speak.
We should go for a street ride this or any upcoming weekend!
