Well joined the ps3 ranks.

Pickd one up last night. Walmart got a pallet load of them.

So far only have Tom Clancey Hawx and GTA IV.

New TV solved my issue with not being backwards compatible with ps2. PS3 is on hdmi, ps2 is on component and sega saturn is on rca through the vcr.

All I can say is the damn thing does get rather warm. Is this normal?

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

now go get modern warfare 2!

does it have a decent amount of space around it? (not on top of receiver, enclosed in cabinet etc) Mine doesn't get too warm, but it's on an open shelf by itself

Yea leave it in the open and you should have no problem. Also dust it once awhile ;op.

Go pick up bad company 2 and you won't need another game for awhile. Also add people on friends network, there is quite a few of us.

Probably put a couple 120mm fans behind it since the only place it will sit is in a large e center shelf (19" wide and about 12" tall and back is opened up large enought o push it through.).

I looked around the case tonight and really they should had put more venting in it. Cant see how they can make it more slimmer and why the hell they would even bother. Friends PS2 slim gets warm also sitting on a table, but my old big box ps2 stays cold as hell even enclosed.

No want for modern warfare2 or other FPS games (other than GTA since its stress relief). Waiting for GT5. Really would love to find a Arcades Greatest Hits disk with games like Galaga, Dig Dug, Robotron 2084, etc...

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Mortal Kombat II FTW. I baiscally only use that and my netflix disk - looking forward to 2011 when that won't be necessary.
