What PS3 game is on your radar?

What game that isn't out are you anticipating?
I usually only play one game at a time, which right now is COD4. I can't wait for the next Socom, but that doesn't seem to be releasing anytime soon. So until then, I'm looking forward to picking up one of these:

MSG4
Grand Theft Auto IV
Gran Turismo 5.
Socom Confrontation

Da Bears!
Ducati

Resistance II as well as GT5. Didn't even know a new SOCOM was being released. I really want to play Assassin's Creed 2, but that won't be out for a while.

Socom Confrontation has been rumored for about 2 years now. Its being developed by Slant Six, not Zipper as the last ones were. Although Zipper is rumored to be working on a Socom 4.

Rumors, rumors......so who knows. But I'm a big fan of the other Socom games so I'll buy the next socom whenever that comes out.

Resistance 2 (Good to Great!)
LittleBigPlanet (which I know will be good but I'll still take a wait and see attitude as its marketed to an all audiences crowd)

I hear GT 5 Prologue isn't going to be anything special. They are going to make us wait until lat '08 or '09 to release the full version which probably will allow you to race against live opponents.

But my most anticipated game will be Sucker Punch's INFAMOUS!!! These are the guys that developed Sly Cooper which is a solid platformer with great controls and visuals. The controls were probably the best I've ever played on a PS2.

Infamous will be released before Christmas '08 and promises that same GTA open world map that is all the rage. The theme is that you are a guy who discovers you have superpower abilities. You take on simple missions at 1st and build up your powers. At the same time the open ended theme allows for different resolutions to missions based on the choices you make for your character.

Sometimes you'll find a simple solution where you save the day and become a hero and other times you'll be forced to use your powers for evil or at least tempted. The point is that through your actions your character evolves into a hero or a villian. Some missions won't allow you to make such black and white decisions though so you might end up in a pickle or two.

In any event, Infamous looks like its also going to have a mega huge online presence too meaning you'll be able to build up your character as good or evil and match the powers you've grown against others or team up with them to complete missions.

It sounds like the online play is going to be a whole lot more interesting than death match or capture the flag which is really played IMO with all the current stock of games.

I stand corrected. Gran Tourismo 5 (Prologue Edition) will allow you to race up to 12 opponents but will be limited to 37 cars until the full $60 version comes out (which I'm not sure will be late 08 or 09).
