I just got it the other day. I've only been on a couple times.
It keeps crashing on me when I try to edit my guy. It's also a pain in the ass without a keyboard.

I came here to drink some beer and kick some ass. And it looks like we are all out of beer.

I haven't had it crash but I don't see much to it. I was bored of it after an hour, although I would go back and play pool and bowling.

Other than that, its a little annoying with all the people running around aimlessly. I don't think I would use it to meet up with people and hang out. Like you, I don't have a keybd so typing a message takes forever.

I'm there. Ditch the keyboard idea and get a BT headset. I've had full conversations with people. Looks like the go live date in Dec 15th.

It's funny to look for clusters of people because you know that in the middle is a chick avitar consealing a man 9 times out of 10.

Ice Breaker is a good game in the pool hall but it's a shame it doesn't reward trophies. I hear the PS Store will be there too and that's cool.

All in all, it's sorta boring. Unless they give me a reason to go there like the store or trophies I don't see a whole lot of my time being spent walking around asking people what's up.

Besides, there are some real idiots there. 15 year old boys mouthing off and stuff. Kinda stupid when you are just talking to someone and some fool interuprts you to say 'gay' or whatever their 1 celled brain comes up with.

Anyone know what the PS update was last night?

I didn't turn on my headset for this reason, the 15 year olds screaming in my ear.

I don't think the PS3 is getting Netflix support, I think Blockbuster's version is coming to the PS3. Netflix is on the MS side of the fence with the Xbox.

It's not the headset as much as the floating text that bothers me. Kids walk around and actually waste their time texting out "You are gay" or whatever. No wonder 1/3 of US kids end up dropping out of school.

And the Netflix version sucks. It looks too grainy to enjoy. Basically only useable as a last resort like if you rented a season of Lost and disk 3 doesn't come or is scratched.

I hope it does, its in netflix interest to have it on as many platforms.

Netflix is already on BluRay players. Damn it pisses me off.

I don't think Netflix looks that bad. I hook up the HDMI output on my laptop to my living room LCD and it looks close to DVD quality. I'm sure the laptop is doing all the work to clean up the video out.

Really? Hum the 2 movies I watched were poor quality. My monitor isn't HD though.
