It is fabulous. I pre-ordered it because I was sick of waiting for a decent racing game.

I'm a level 16 and am blasting my way though tier 3 at the moment. I was online last night for about 2 hours otherwise I'd expect to have finished tier 3.

I have to say I hate the drifting portion though and after a little try quit it altogether.

I'll host a few games tonight under the kgibbs51 PSN ID. What's your ID?

I'd have to agree that the drifting part sucks. I did it once and haven't touched anything related to drifting, lol... I'm only lvl 12 or something and unlocked t3 this morning.

I'll check my PSN ID when I get home, always forget it, lol.

so when you go through corners do you use the handbrake? because I keep on spinning out. I've been braking hard or release the accel. into the corner and accel out.

Yes and no. Perhaps I'm a racing game idiot as I simply don't have the patience to learn. I have NFS Underground for the PSP which also has a drifting mode and I suck at that too. I like the racing. If I wanted to do tricks I'd play Burnout Paradise.

I have an old Logitech force wheel left over from my PS2 which works great still and is so much better to use than the controller.

If you request that we become friends via the PSN XMB then we can face off racing. I just unlocked tier 4 last night.

Well again Amazon has this on sale today for both 360 and PS3. It's a great game. Probably not as deep as other games but the fun factor is very high.
