Sounds like a cool idea. I'm assuming we get to keep the footage, how is it given to us? Is the video quality the same as what's posted in the testimonial section?

edit - Thught I'd add the Link since Nick is a newb and left it out

All of gets burned to a DVD on site and you take it home..barring any computer hick-ups.

And thanks for the link. I thought it linked when you hovered over the name.

No, sorry. I'll be at ACC memorial weekend and Gingerman in June. I want to ensure all the bugs are worked before hand.

This sounds very similar to what we were doing last year with one of our sponsors http://www.traqmaterental.com/.

Made for some really cool onboard video and a great teaching tool.

Good luck with it Nick, it was very popular at the NESBA days and at the Motovid days.

Jeff and I worked on this together and it's now exclusive to STT. One of the most significant components added is the immediate interaction with a STT track coach as soon as you get off the track. THAT is (IMO) the most important part of the coach-on-board program. This is in essence the "advanced" (for a lack of a better term off the top of my head) portion of coaching at all levels (N/I/A). It will change the way you ride instantly if you apply the coaches input. You'll have to be honest with yourself when you watch the video and see every different line you took in corner 2(for example).

There is so much detail and data captured you could review it for hours. The GPS portion literally shows you where you were on the track corner after corner. If you had 7 different lines in corner 1 the data shows it.

Thanks Ron. Your youtube video was part of my initial inspiration to move this along. It's clearly one of the best things going for our community when it comes to coaching or a self evaluation. I figured it was time to simply do it.

Yep, I wondered what Jeff was doing this season. I need to pull my head out of the sand more often! I had lost track of him!

I used this tool all last year to help me gain pace on the guys I was racing against. Nothing compares to measuring objective data and scientifically evaluating those brutally cold hard facts.

In the end, I finally figured out why some of the guys were beating repeatedly...they were simply riding better than me.

Not just the video part it's the whole gps and data that goes with it. you can see what's wrong and how to correct it in multiple ways;video, gps, data and it's corner by corner and with a STT coach as soon as you roll off the track.

I haven't included all the stuff I carry. I do have the STT tire warmers (single Temp) for 275.00. If you only do track days it's a waste to spend all the money of triple temp warmers. Don't get me wrong I drool over them, but it is a little useless IMO. I will have a set at ACC this coming weekend. Sorry about that...

I am toying with the idea of Slicks for the SuMo which means warmers - I like to support locals

I will not be at any ACC events - Would just call ya and order that way
