Saturday was a blast even though it started to drizzle and I lowsided :P It was good seeing everyone out there.

I think T7 had some slippery gremlins or something hiding around the area

Rolled out and said hi to a few peeps. Got a 2up ride from Pilot on his scootah. Saw my old SV in action. Forgot the new bike was standard shift for a second, and kicked the ass end out on a downshift that was suppost to be an upshift. Watched Elroy bloop a whoolie on the way to the track. Petted Kim's puppy dog. Ate Pilots Gummi bears. Good times.

I was there Saturday as well.
Nick warned us about that on hot pit lane as we were headed out. I was pussy footing through there, then it started raining harder so I called it quits for the day.
Was a fun day over all though even though it was a bit chilly, made me wish I had tire warmers. I really need to work on turns 1 and 2 though.

I was there Saturday only, and even though the rain cut my day short, I had a great day. The session after lunch was probably the best session I've had at any track. I finally figured out how to relax my right arm in right turns.

CLSB turnout was great, it's more fun riding with friends

It was good for me too. I meet Chad from CLSB. Nice to put faces to names.

Sat was a good day, but the cold throws a wrench in the works. Rain doesn't bother me if I have rain tires, but the cold makes the track and tires a little unpredictable.

Sat nite was really great. Lance from sportbike "snack" time put out an awesome spread as always. Man, the ribs incredible! Shelly brought brownies for dinner/desert too, but they lasted about 30 minutes in the paddock and they were GONE.

I'm glad you all had a good time.

I think that is the biggest part about track riding. Sure you can go solo and ride around, but with friends it is 100x better.

When I am out there I enjoy it more when I see people I know on the track. Sucks it is the last ACC date of the season

Thanks goes out to Nick and the whole STT crew. I had a blast running STT events and learned a lot of the coaches.

Great time on Sunday. Man that south course is hard to memorize......
The N group overall was filled with experienced N riders which made everything flow really nice. Towards the end my times were really improving.
The cool weather really kept the truck crew busy. I forgot the exact count but there seemed to be a red flag almost every session. Luckily nobody got hurt, just the bikes. Cold tires + pushing it too soon. Most seemed to be the first or second lap out.
While the cooler temps did take traction away at the beginning I did like how the cool temps kept me charged up. I was itching to go out ever session. Big difference from just a month or two ago when it was 100 degrees out, I was spent by noon. Good times....great seeing everyone.

saturday:
pretty decent day, grabbed ahold of the north line & went to work on it, been well over 1.5 years since i've been there and i was able to muster up a pretty decent & consistent 1:13's, i think if i had another day there i could have easily dropped another 1.5 off my time. Pretty good time w/ friends, Thanks to Tea & Kim for showing me the way through

sunday:
umm.. red flag fest for sure, ppl just don't listen to Nick when he says "be careful the track will be cold & so will the tires".
I went out the first session for more of a sightseeing lap & well that was ended by a redflag. Next session went out & went to put down a decent lap & kept having traction probs so i came in early, checked the pressures & threw them back on the warmers & headed out the next session & same problem, after lunch it finally started to grip & i was confident enough to push it a bit, learned the line & my best time for the day was a 1:44.7, so all in all it was a decent weekend, minus the cool weather & rain on sat (damn i like the north course )

Great hanging with some CLSB peeps yesterday!
After getting a tow from Bomber I was able to have a couple really satisfying sessions and it was a suitable way to end to season. Gotta get some trail time in now!

I had a great time all weekend, and made it a really good end to my trackday season
I struggled with traction in the early sessions on both days. cold track adn tires played their parts but the cold suspension had a lot to do with it as well, my bike felt kinda sluggish to react until it warmed up after a couple sessions.

Ive come to like riding the south course more than north this season even thought I used to hate it. the last few sessions on sunday I feel were my best put together rides all weekend, felt really smooth and consistent with only a few minor errors but nothing that threw me off in the least

Huge thanks to Wally who stopped my on saturday and on hearing me talking with Tea about not being able to catch her on north course because of the gap that build up while I waited on the tires to warm up, offered to let me use his. It took me a while to get used to using them and being able to go out at nearly full pace right off the bat, once I got used to it and comfortable that the tires were indeed sticky it helped me out a lot

I only had the chance to ride on Sunday this weekend and pitted with two other friends who also only rode Sunday. I knew the forecast wasnít perfect but Iíve got so little riding done this year that I really wanted to make this event. Everyone I came with left in one piece with only D-Mann having a small get off, on his first lap on cold tires, on a borrowed bike. Dohhh!

My day started really, really slow. First session, tires on the warmers and all, the track was very slippery and that made me ride extremely cautiously (read SLOW). But, even with chilly and windy condition the track did come around some for the middle part of the day and I got a few nice sessions in. Iím sure I was still way off the pace but it felt good enough for me on that day. I packed it in early when it seemed to cool off again in the afternoon and went home nice and safe.

Nick, Thanks so much for putting my name on one of those spots even though I missed pre-registration. And thanks to STT for putting on a good event and putting up with our BS.

I had a great time on Sat. It was my first and last track day of the season. Also, my first time running "I" ever!. I was having a blast, and running a pretty hot pace (for me) and even made a few passes. Unfortunately, it started raining, and I didn't take it down a notch. Nor did I take advice of the 10 riders leaving the session early. Going into turn 8 pretty hot, I lost the front end. Too fast for conditions :-(.

Thanks to my awesome pit crew, I managed to get the bike re-teched, but the rain continued, and I did not feel like pushing my luck. So, the crash ended my day. No serious injuries, and the bike only has minor damage.

Until next year..............

Oh, Pilot, thanks for helping me safety wire, and the gummi bears!!

I had my first real run-in with a literbike being a douche, it was great! I had no idea he was even behind me, but he came into the inside of turn 2 HARD on the breaks, downshifted and skipped the rear tire, cut in front of me and wheelied out. I stayed somewhat on my line and carried enough speed to not totally lose him. Caught up coming out of turn 3 and I passed him on the outside of turn 4. Never saw him again
