exactly that, when i start to get that feeling that's the time i "ALWAYS" pit in and and relax and regroup, i calm myself down, and when i'm calm and relax i go back out...i suppose i can pop the pill, but i just hated how it kept me up all night, and made me more ADD the next day and i have to take the pill again, so i just stop taking it, and somewhat learn how to cope w/it.

i hear ya. i used to take my friends' adderall in college to study and it had a very focusing effect on me. the only problem is when i took it and started something else waiting for it to kick in. 5 hours later, i realized i haven't started studying and i'm still watching videos on youtube or something

Looks like ADD kicked in right therr.. Totally changed the subject !

I kid, seriously though, it seems like you have a good handle on it and at least you pull in to regroup rather than staying out.

What? Like kids being kids? I can't stand how some people/doctors/schools decide that they should just shove pills down the peoples throat to make them "pay attenion more". I wouldn't be surprised if only 1 out of 10 actually has ADD or ADHD that would require the use of drugs.

Certain high functioning autism traits often get misdiagnosed as them and yes, I can't stand the 'medicate them' trigger pull many do without really taking the time to figure out what (if anything) is going on.

I have it,I was diagnosed with it back in about 3rd grade, havent taken the pills in over a decade.... I learned to focus myself and control it. never used it as a crutch or an excuse like so many other people did, i heard a lot about in in college that if you were diagnosed with it you could go some where adn get extra time for exams and what not.

i dont think its ever affected me on the track, it allows me to fully focus on what im doing with no distractions

I'm add as all shit, but that's not an issue with anything but getting paperwork done, or tedious long shit like coding a website. It has no effect on the track. Although ask CP about following me through the trails on a dirt bike, it makes for an interesting ride
