Cool little track though when I was there it was wet and very windy. That was not fun. Wish I could join you but I have a family party that weekend.

Have a good time. The pavement there is really nice now compared to years past.

Here's a link from May. Disalvo is following me with the camera on his bike. It get's red flagged after the second lap but you can get a good idea of the line from the video.

Notice the small black patch in turn one before the huge black patch. Put your front tire on that patch and use at your turn in point. It's a good reference point.

I'll be there tomorrow for the ladies day. Wheee!

That video reminded me: if you've never been to Grattan, note that you get on the track between T4 & T5 and you get off the track by going straight off the track instead of through T3.

Jason Disalvo and Brian Stokes are top notch. David Grey helps out as well and he is an exceptional rider.

The class is good for novice and veteran riders. I pretty much knew everything they were teaching I just needed to be critiqued which helped me ten fold. Knowing something in your head and actually doing it are 2 different things. It really all boils down to seat time and having big balls to go fast. If you want to move your riding up to the next level it is a fantastic program.

But I can tell you right now the fast fast guys running top ten lap times at any given track at an AMA weekend have balls of steel. I'm just a big pussy and not willing to take as many chances as some of those guys are. They sure are fun to watch though.

Have a good time Jen and be safe. Like I said above, the turn-in point in turn 1 is that little black patch. Put your bike right across that small black patch before the big black patch and you will grab the right line. Brian Stokes drilled that into my head a month ago.
