Well... for starters its 426 miles round trip vs. 170 miles round trip with a vehicle that gets 12 mpg at best, but the kicker is I can not get off of work Friday and I work until 11pm. So regardless of how I look at it, the travel would kill me . October is planned though. Hope things turned out well with the bike.

You're totally welcome man.

Exhausted. <-- that would be me. Totally useless at work today.

It was a super fun weekend though. Finally getting used to having more power and trusting it - I love that bike. X finally took it out and flogged it a bit and now understands why I'm such a fan, he was actually impressed. Still have a lot to learn on it.

Unfortunately it's a terrible bike for going 50 mph all day - my right leg is cooked through, and well done.

What could possibly be wrong with your POLICE bike???? It was running fine on Labor Day weekend except for the loose throttle spring back thing-of-a-jig. Or are you getting a kickstand installed...J.K....seriously, whats wrong with it???

Couple things needs to be looked at. (Just in case) And well thats what held me up. Ohhh well lesson learned. Found the vibration problem thats the good thing Ohh and throttle return.. damn quarter turn throttles need adjusting many times around.
