Is this a regular trackday? ie. novice, intermediate, advanced groups... This would be my first trackday, so I don't want to sign up for something I'm not ready for :P

gingerman is awesome. it's in south haven, mi. i'd definitely recommend it for a first timer, especially bc there always tends to be a little bit of a lower turnout.

Gingerman T1 is a tight left....after a little rise. Pucker factor if you're not paying attention. Good thing there's lots of run-off at T1. =)

At speed that run-off will not help avoid broken bones. You at 150mph before the hill , which hides the view of the apex. If you have never been at that track , make sure you roll off and scrub off a LOT of speed BEFORE top of the hill first few laps.

This is a regular 3 group stt day

GingerMan turnouts have been light and we'd like to invite everyone out for a discount track day.

The $100 price is good until five days out and then its $125

Ummm I doubt very much you are hitting 150 by the time you hit the hill.

Also there is no need to scrub off alot speed before the hill.

Well I guess since you live in the NW burbs it would take that long. I also drive a little quicker than the speed limit. It takes me 1:45 min to get to Gingerman.

Pfft. How do you think we feel, we're on the NW side of Milwaukee. Grattan is *directly* across the lake from us, Gingerman is just a little south.

Too bad with a trailer and two people the ferry is over $300. It takes us 5 hours to drive to GMan.

I can't remember if we signed up for that weekend or not. My calendar shows we're at home every weekend in June which seems weird.

Thats because your calander doesn't show VIR. :P

You know, we could split a bike and that would leave room to rider share with 2 other people.
Or I could go out there alone... and you could stay at home with the cats.
I'm just saying.

DOH! :P
Someone had the same issue with his Gixxer this past weekend too. I'm not naming names though.

VIR is the weekend after Gingerman. We could do both!
