I'm thinking of going that weekend, too, but I think I'm going to try riding down. It'll be my first one, and I'll just throw my tools in the saddle bags and prep/deprep at the track. I'm considering bringing extra pegs and levers, just in case.

LANinja, more detail where ya at might help a bit more to put you in touch with some of the City folk....I wouldnt suggest you riding in, no jinxing but a back up plan in the event you need one, while CLSB peeps are great and if needed I am sure someone would pull together to get you hooked up... Great people here and at the trackdays..

Keep watchin posts for this event as it gets closer you'll see more activity... Good luck..

LANinja,

Autobahn isn't that far, so this is the one track I'd consider riding to. I'm headed in from LA that Friday to ride the weekend, you can pit with me if you like. It will be my first time at Autobahn, but not my first track day. Just look for bike 83.

I'm willing to pitch in and ride a uhaul or something to the track. I'm thinking about doing that weekend too.

Another newbie to the track...

Still no bike? You are not going then?

I think I may stop by one day to watch a bit but I don't think I can ride.

ACC - Labor Day Weekend?

Hey LANinja, did you decide if you're going? If so, I'd be willing to split costs. I live in the city too (60618).

Thanks!

Hell I'll ride there and you take my truck and trailer if i can have your S4 for the weekend LOL just kidding!

I am already taking 3 bikes. WORST case I can take another bike on the bed of the truck, but i would need help loading and unloading it.

I'm in NW burbs. just 5 minutes away from the bike nite portillos.

I just got my winter car so I'd have a vehicle that can tow (hitch is being installed before I pick it up). Gotta love those racing wagons! I'm gonna do a u-haul motorcycle trailer this time, which I believe only holds one bike. My dad is selling his motorcycle trailer in Minnesota, so I should own one for next year. See you all Saturday!

I'm finally saying fakit and riding there from town I think LANNinja is doing Sun. I'm planning on doing Sat and Sun. Let me know if you want to ride there together (60611).

Only challenge is carrying the bloody gas can but I'll figure that out.
