Blago at it again, CALL TO ARMS

The Illinois General assembly has changed its mind and wants to sweep
the cycle rider training fund

In twelve hours we went from being exempt to the governor trying to take our money
call your state Reps and tell them to exempt the cycle rider training fund from the sweep

More from springfield
Representative Gary Hannig (D) 98th District (217) 782-8071 proposed the amendment to SB790 that would include the cycle Rider Training Fund back into the sweeps. this bill originally proposed in Senate exempted the Cycle Rider Training fund
please give him a call and ask him to exempt Cycle Rider Training Fund and the off highway trails fund

Spoke with Todd his reply

(Amendment just passed committee. I spoke against it. Took questions Will try an amendment and see what happens)

sb790 wants to steal 4 million dollars from the Cycle Rider Training Fund (a false surplus created by idot)

This money is collected from motorcycle riders who voluntarily contribute $5.00 from the M endorsement on their Drivers License

please call your Reps and ask them to vote no or exempt Cycle Rider Training use the link below
Call all the Reps if you have time. Remember this is a election year.

Good news?-Yes.

Will he go after it again? - Yes.

Its on the radar now and he will find a way to get it.

I am still sending emails to the reps about it, after all, I have a vested interest as I get checks sent to me outta that fund. It amazes me how the politicians (read that I am not specifying any specific party) always look for found money, instead of cutting wasteful spending - as an operations manager, if I tried to pull the shit that they pull to "balance budgets" I would be kicked out to the curb faster than you can say subprime mortgage.
