mm..... playstationy

I have been finding all the pimp ass things you can do with these systems such as the PS3 and PSP.

Things I have recently accomplished.

Media Extender.
unlike my 360 the ps3 supports a TON more codecs which allow me to play my "backed up" media content.

1. I toss my media onto a memory stick and toss it in a card reader into the ps3s usb ports or the built in memory card reader.

2. I have windows media player 11 and I have my media shared so I can snage it straight from there. I have three of my pcs connected like this so I can grab media from any of them.

Remote play.
I connected my PSP to my PS3 and turned on a feature called remote play. now no matter where I go that has wifi, I can access my ps3 and access all the content on the ps3, or connected to it. Such as all my pcs so I can watch video or mp3s streaming from them.

If you have a camera attached you can also turn on the camera and see whats going on at home.

kinda crazy to see the PSP as;

Video game system
Video player
Mp3 player
internet radio player
Web access
"Security system" with remote play (heh)
GPS (next year febuary)

I am hooked on this thing more and more day by day epecially with all the new games.

yes, but this is a video game Console. <~

Hence why its a big deal. Not everyone can easily setup remote desktop terminal services but they can set up remote play easily.
