Platform multiplay?

I know that now if you have windows vista that you can play people with xbox 360 online. Im in the process of building my computer and this is gonna be definatly something I will do a lot. Right now tho I dont know anything on how this works. Can you just go online and 360 and pc peeps are mixed in or what? I know its possible now but any info on this?

Has not happening yet. They wanted to do this for Gears 2 but I guess it did not make the cut. I think there would be a host of issues with doing this unless they are simple arcade games.

So no games work at all for this? I was browsing online and this was supposed to be done in mid 2007 for a select few games to start off.

it's actually becoming less and less likely to happen. As connected as people are to their PC and as hardcore as PC gamers are the market segment is shrinking. The resources are just better spent elsewhere than trying to make a PC do what a 360 does. I really thought it was a cool idea and was hoping it'd happen, but it's just not worth it.

Microsoft is even giving up on it's certified "Games for Windows" program.
