Madden vs NCAA Football (PS3)?

Ok, got a question for you gamers out there. I got a PS3 for x-mas from my g/f last weekend and I bought a couple games for it right after she gave it to me. One of them is NCAA football, the latest version, since I love college football. Well we opened gifts from her family on Sunday (since we're busy for the week and traveling on Wed to my family's place) and I got Madden 09 (whatever the latest year is) from her mom. Now my question for you guys is: Is there much of a difference between the games besides the obvious college vs pro? I've never played Madden before, it's only been NCAA on my PS2. It's really fun, but would it be worth it to keep both games or return Madden and get something else? What do you guys think?

I'm really into realism. I took hours to name (almost) every player in NCAA then imported the real drafts into Madden. I'd keep both, personally.

Thanks Zerogta. Since you seem to be a soccer fan, would you pick the latest Fifa game over Madden 09?

For the rest of you... Is the place really this dead today? Wow!

I'm pretty quirky, but personally, yes. If for no other reason than the matches take ~12 minutes to play as opposed to ~60 minutes.

I have FIFA 2007 on PC all set up and customized perfectly with transfers, etc. But I'm missing out on some of the newest young players and will probably upgrade to 09. I have 09 installed but haven't really gotten into the guts of it. Maybe PES or Sensational World of Soccer. Maybe all of them.

For PC, I wouldn't consider Madden or NCAA FB. FIFA isn't so bad. I play with the keyboard.

For me, Madden/NCAA FB is such an undertaking every time the newest one comes out. I had to step away after 07. I would play franchise mode and control all 32 teams.
