Nintendo DS Lite

OK...Before i go crazy looking....

My kids got the DS for X-Mas and Kolbys friend has one and says you can download stuff like games onto the DS. Ive looked a little...Ive enabled the wireless router for him and i did connect but dont see ANYTHING where you can get stuff!

Does anyone have a clue before i go scouring the net?

The way it works, according to my 4 inhouse experts, is:

You download the games from another person who has a cartridge with this capability. Some games allow you to 'share' them with someone who does not own the game, and it lets you play the 'mini games' (most of which are multi-player).

Someone in the groups has to own something like: Kirby Superstar Ultra (up to 4 pepople at a time), Mario Kart DS (up to 4 players), Super Mario 64 DS (up to 4 players)... just to name a few...

You don't download them off the internet or anything like that, you DL from someone in proximity who has a game cartridge with this capability.

Everyone Exaggerates

Thanks Arch and yes we do that but if you connect with wifi/wireless you can down load stuff. This kid had games, colors, screens, and apps. He said his dad downloaded them through his computer. Go figure......

The only way to do that is like i said. now he does play his game on the internet now with his friend through the internet but not sure how.
