Xbox is copying the Wii with motion sensing controllers. The project is called "Natal". Being gay for Sony Fire attempted to call anyone who has an Xbox a child or that Microsoft is treating us like children. Idk, it gets really obscure, must be hard to type when he has Sony's balls on his chin

Here is the funny thing. Each of our backgrounds in gaming and who has more knowledge.
The xbox is Not copying the wii. Its copying the playstation 2's eye camera.
You also don't recognize that microsoft for the past 8 months has had a severe push for child young gamers. And copying nintendo with their "meiis" "avatars" pushes for a younger demographic which is a known fact. Their advertising pushes to parents with statements such as. "Here at microsoft we feel its our responsibility to protect your children...blah blah"
A video game system's responsibility instead of the parents? HA!

This is what's going on right now. Hence what gives me the ability to joke that now they have pushed past the tweens and now onto demographic of babies or wiinies.

So they're out to make a profit off a demographic they haven't tapped into before, isn't that just good business sense? Yeah, the new Live interface is a lot like the Wii's. But being user friendly and easy to navigate shouldn't be a bad thing. I don't like Project Natal, the Eye Toy was horrible at recognizing motion. I'm not a fan of the direction video games are heading with motion controllers to no controllers at all. Playing a video game shouldn't be a full body work out. But Nintendo has proven that there's a demographic to be tapped into. No business in the same field is going to see someone making a profit and not want to jump in too. I just hope enough of the hardcore fan base speak up to kill all this nonsense.

Now that being said, the PS3 controller needs a redesign. The angle your thumbs have to be at to reach the control sticks is obscene. I couldn't test with it for more than 15 minutes before my thumbs cramped up.

Actually its a big misconception that the ps3 controller needs a redesign, its actually the 360 that needs a redesign.

(if you want, actually do this)
put your arms straight out in front of you. (like zombie walk)
stick your thumbs out like giving thumbs up.
now tilt your hands 45 degrees and thats a ps3 controller.

now do the same thing and raise your left hand up 2" (because shooters and most games have you using the analogs) thats the 360, its a very unnatural holding position and prioritizes the D pad instead of the left analog.

its its just that your physically used to a 360 controller. so naturally your hands are going to feel goofy! LoL! they yell wtf mate whats going on with this!

I totally agree about the motion junk, i go home to sit in my nice leather chair, not to hop around after 8 hours of work.

Its just that with the expansion of demographic you alienate your other demographic. by going younger they lose their older demo.

if you load up a ps3 vs a 360 and ask anyone which demographic its for its an easy answer. I knew this for awhile and they are progressively moving torwards younger and younger and now they hit the youngest with,
(my joke and punchline)
Project Baby.
