New Super Mario Brothers Wii - AWESOME!!

So I got the new super mario brothers for the wii yesterday. I have to say,t his game is awesome! it's a side scroller. To me is seems like a hybrid between Super Mario 1, 3, and Super mario for SNES. If you are a fan of side scroller games super mario brothers I highly recommend this.

Cool. I think in some respects the overcomplication of some games has really detracted from the fun factor. Shit, I still play Super Tecmo Bowl and Baseball Stars all the time!

Baseball Stars and Super Tecmo Bowl (the 2nd one that kept stats) are the greatest sports games of all time. True story. I even have the Tecmo NBA game.

My son (he's 3) keeps bothering me to hook my NES back up after I tested it a few months ago. Once I find a spot for the old CRT 20" TV I will.

I saw that commercial for the new SMB Wii and it was hard not to drop everything and hook up the NES.

I love the run diagonal trick that works most of the time. Or just use Christian Okoye and watch guys bounce off of you.

In school, we used to recruit people for Tecmo NFL or NBA tourneys. We'd map the shit out on paper in math class like everyone had to choose a team. Sometimes we'd put money down on a team and let the computer play the season. We got really into that shit.

I do love Baseball Stars too. Too bad the 2nd one sucked.

What is a wren? When is it not?

I didn't need to know this. Luckily I'm busy enough to not look into this. For now.

I'll stick to the original Tecmos on the actual NES console.

The Mario game is on the X-mas wish list. I played it at game stop for a level and it was great!

Well i beat the game over the break. It was a ton of fun. Not too challenging if you played the original games though. I highly recommend this to anyone.

I bought it and enjoy alot. I love NSMBW. This game is amazing. But not as much as SMB3 or World, but it's close. I'd even say it surpasses the original NSMB in many ways. As a matter of fact, I did play about few hours of it, and the new power ups like Ice Flower seemed fun. I tried playing with 4 players and I had to carry one of them through most of the levels.
