WTB zuma or ruckus

My roommate is gonna get a scooter, so i'm looking for a gently used 50cc zuma or ruckus, (preferably zuma because of it's 2stroke motor). $1500 is about the cap. I've checked ebay, craigslist, and our classifieds but haven't come across much. Haven't checked local dealers yet, who has a decient selection?

i got my zuma off craigslist for in your price range. at the time there was many to choose from. i'm sure with summer here and gas prices going even higher they are gonna be harder to come by and prices are gonna go up.

+1 on the zuma over the ruckus, the zuma is for sure faster and has better storage.

A buddy of mine has an 86 Honda Aero 50 cc scooter. He said its got 2,300 miles on it. He's not 100% sure if he is selling it yet, hes looking at getting a 125 cc, so if he does then he definitely will be selling it. He said hes looking to get $1,200 for it. If you are interested let me know, Ill give you is contact info.

haha, thank for the offer but $1200 for a 86 50cc scooter?!?! That's a lot more than that particular scooter is worth. I've seen them go for 600ish on craigslist

That '86 is worth $1200, seeing that it is now a classic about to turn vintage.

Yea, I don't know why he is trying to sell it for so much. He claims he has seen them sell for that much before but I doubt it.

yea... thats where its at,

the drive unit is off the frame, but still in 1 peice, the body panels, some are metal are all off, I think that other than some hardware everything is there, minus a brake lever. and probably some other small crap

i originally paid 150 for it but i just want it out of the garage now so im willint to take a loss somewhat

Guy is selling a '04 ruckus for $1750. Thought I would pass the info on. I do not know the person, I simply saw the listing on craigslist.

Zuma

Hey this is his friend. I actually somehow found this forum. 1,200 was a number i just threw out there. I actually just sold the honda aero 50 for 1,000. It was a bad ass scooter. it went 40 and kicked both the zuma and vinos ass off the start. 200 dollars is shit, those vintage scooters are gold for some reason. I actually put a deposit on a zuma 125.
