Scooter Rant

They are Motor Vehicles that take plates and must follow rules of the road. They do not get ridden on sidewalks or the wrong way down streets. Just because you bought the thing at pep boys does not mean it is a bicycle.

That was me. Tony wanted his starbucks from Naperville while he was in Plainfield. He told me I cant get caught for speeding on the sidewalk because the bike cops can't keep up with a scooter.

screw you all

you all are just jealous of my 70mpg, and easy of cutting in and out of traffic on a daily basis

Seriously though, i ride my Zuma every day to work from Wood Dale to Chicago, rain or shine. I normally do not break any laws, if traffic is really bad, i will lane split when traffic is stopped, thats it. I never take sidewalks, wrong ways, or anything else like that. I get ZERO respect from people in cages, they will look at me with anger every time we stop at a light, not sure why. its funny the damn thing only does 40mph but off every light, i beat everyone down the street, if there is a car in front of me, i find i have to very slowly accelerate or i will hit them.

Mandy caught me driving on a sidewalk 10 years ago on my Katana. I still get little comments on it. When I get the parts for the Duc back, Mandy and I be cruising around all the time. Her on the Vino 125, me on the 996.

*** Can a mod move this to the scooterific forum?

I forgot we had that forum.

I almost wiped out two this weekend because they were being ridden like bikes.

i know how you feel, i had the zuma out this weekend and loved every minute of it, love the 70+mpg and practically carefree usage and it does generally beat most people accross the intersections
