Scooter Stimulus Package

I just got this faxed to me. Kymco is doing a special promotion until Dec. 31

0 Down 0 Interest 0 Payments for 6 Months on all Kymco Scooters.

Buy now pay later. Kymco's financing has been really good and unlike other OEMs they don't jack the rate up to 25% after the promotional period. The rate given we depend on your credit history.

Yeah Super 8 150's for all or 2 stoke 50's Do it!!

True but some people just don't have the money to buy a 6000 dollar 500 cc scooter in their pockets. Plus with the 0 Down 0 Interest 0 Payments you can basically finance it for free for 6 months and not pay any interest if you pay it off before then. There is no pre-payment penalty.

I have winter gloves, and heated vests in stock as well.

Don't be so negative. I've never put a motorcycle "away" for the winter you can always find a day here and there to ride.

Financing a bike doesn't have to be a dumb situation. I finance half of mine. If it's low interest rates and I'd rather keep some cash in the bank it can be a good thing.

Look at it this way. I'm going to take a loan on the gsxr I just picket up. My loan rate is going to be 5.5%. E savings account get about 4.5%. So to keep the money in my bank is only costing me 1% or $70 a year. not too bad.

Why would you buy a $6000 500CC scooter? I can understand the smaller scooters like the Zuma but what is the point of getting a big, expensive scooter? You could just buy a real motorcycle.

Well for arguments sake I'll answer this the best I can. A lot of the buyers for these bigger scooters are people who are using them as transportation. Its kinda like the argument between stick and auto cars. Why bother with the manual trans when you can have an auto do everything for you. In the last two years I have had 4 instances of people trading in their motorcycle for a scooter, and these are not smaller bikes it has been a VTX1300 GL1800 Boulevard C90 and Shadow 750. Speaking to these people they just want the convenience and low seat height of the scooter while still being able to hit the highway or travel a longer distance without winding out a small motor.

After reading my first post again I realized I hadn't updated it with the default rate after 6 months. If you don't pay the scooter off in 6 months your rate will be only 7.9% after.
