Anyone have a valve spring compressor for scooter

One of my buddies got a new 2009 Yamaha Zuma 125 scooter a few months back and has been modding the crap out of it. Just recently we installed a 164cc engine kit on it. Came with a brand new forged and teflon coated piston, new crank, and new cylinder. We installed it and it runs for a few minutes and then just dies and wont start anymore. We took it back apart to find out that there is a chunk missing out of the piston which is deep enough to go to the first ring, therefor not making enough compression.

The valves look untouched and there are no scratches on the cylinder wall, so it looks as if the piston just gave out. We want to take the valves out to check and make sure they are straight though, but don't have a valve spring compressor small enough.

Anyone have one that I can borrow?

Here are some pictures. Thanks for the help

I don't have a portable compressor, but if you bring it to my shop I can certainly disassemble and check the valves for you.
