Back Button on Internet Explorer

Tony,

Maybe it's just me, but when I view a thread, then hit the Back Button in Internet Explorer, it takes me back to the Home page, but the date is 9/27 and all the "Latest Discussions" are from 9/27. I have to hit the Refresh button to get it to the current date.

This has been happening since 9/27. Is it my computer, or something with the site?

Thanks,

Mike

IE -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Files -> "Delete all offline content"

Reboot computer if you haven't done so since 9/27

Firefox is now the way to go. Now, I'm not some Linux hack, toting an Apple iPod, sipping diet Mountain Dew, either.

Fact is, in my sector of IT, MS technologies pay my bills, but I got to call Microsoft on this one. Firefox is a far superior browser. Think of it as a changing of the guard. Just the way you switched from DOS to Windows, Alta Vista to Google, 486 to Pentium.

That reco alone will make me check it out. I'm by no means a MS-groupie, but their product do pay my salary (MCSE) so knowing IE inside and out is just part of the territory.

I was waiting for a non-lan-partying, IT pro to actually say something about it.

What sucks is that at work I am forced to test on IE due to it's HUGE market share. Otherwise, I'd use FireFox all the time.
