Cool Review Forum?

I'd like to see (and post in) a "Review Forum".

I'm "testing" through a bag of 52 different models of ear plugs, trying out 4 different pairs of "performance boot socks", I've gone through two pairs of gloves, and one mesh jacket, and I have two helmets and two visors I'd like to comment on. I'm sure Peanut has a few things she's like to say about her boots, gloves, jackets and two helmets. We also just put in a big order of several differnt kinds of base layer (underarmor like) clothes we hope will keep us more comfey in this warm weather...

So rather then posting in the open forum and the review eventually sinking into oblivion, I think it would be cool if we did our own reviews...especially since this group is pretty damn gear savvy. (and actually wears it!)

Please?

not a bad idea, we did have an area like that a while back. a submission write up that vcook handled.

i just have a feeling. having an open forum to discuss or leave feed back on products for an OPEN disccusion will lead no where.

you know the saying..."opinions are like assholes, everyone has 1"

with constantly evolving products maintaining a review forum would be a huge undertaking. just use key words in the review, post it as a thread, and finding it via a search later is simple. Not to mention no matter how many review threads there are there will ALWAYS be a new guy going, "What boots should I get?". Just how it is.

Or if you did make a forum, make it like the forsale forum where no one can comment.

But I sure as heck don't want to read about 52 ear plugs.

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.

I was thinking the no comment threads would help.

For the 52 ear plugs, I'm simply writing one line stating what I thought about each pair

For example. I have all 52 models listed, by name, and then what I thought.

Hearos - Small, Soft, didn't last more then 3 uses A+ for comfort
Howard Leight - Max - A bit large, medium hardness, lasted 3 days!
Howard Leight - MaxLite - OK All around, could be smaller.

Vcook, don't be such a downer.

let me repeat, I sure as heck don't want to read about 52 ear plugs. I don't even want to read that you took 52 notes about ear plugs ... loser .... hahaha - just kidding.
