Minimum # of posts before Classifieds are allowed

Maybe I'm being a boner here but can we institute a minimum number of posts (or minimum amount of time one has been a member) before posting access to the classifieds section is allowed. I can understand someone with 5 posts putting up a WTB ad for a starter bike, but I get sick of seeing ads like this from fly by night members or dealers trying to offload their crap for free:

https://www.chicagolandsportbikes.com...ad.php?t=84402

https://www.chicagolandsportbikes.com...ad.php?t=84401

https://www.chicagolandsportbikes.com...ad.php?t=84265

Stick to craigslist, if I want an abused old rice-rocket Eclipse, I know where to find one.

FWIW, listed in the Eclipse ad is that he/she is being deployed. Listed in the bike ad is that it is due to health reasons, something here isn't on the level.

He does have other posts FWIW.

If I recall our discussion correctly, the thought to not incorporate a min post count policy was that the members might benefit from any deals and that some long time outstanding members found CLSB the very same way.

If the policy was in place, we the mods would likely be PMd asking for special treatment and that doesnt necessarily make it any better.

Of course, when a member or a mod suspects a spammer, threads like this are appropriate which leaves us with a decision to make.

I for one dont see what the big deal is and would leave it be.

I don't like the min post rule. If it's a retarded add just delete it, otherwise it could benefit. A member that want the product. Min post rules will just cause crap posts, like all of silentaleros.
