Our new Lemons car

Well, years of being sassy on clsb finally paid off. Through an essay contest on the Lemons forums, yours truly is now the proud owner of the infamous Blue Goose CRX, for the low low price of $0. Yes-- FREE!
A real honey of a ride, if you ask me.

Sweet ride. You should blow it up at Chump Cars Road America date in 2 weeks like we are planning on doing with our neon if we can ever get 5th gear back.

It was a freebie but the requirement was we race it at Lemons and I let the previous owner drive a few laps. I'm also being required by my husband to drive a few myself. Dammit.
So, looks like we will be doing Yee Haw in the fall.

I am accepting ideas for a new race team name. Unfortunately, junk punch racing and donkey punch racing have already been used so I'm fresh out of ideas.

You can see the jack stands in the first and third picture; and they are being used in the second picture.

really where?

when you use a jack stands, you don't leave the floor jack underneath the vehicle(most cases)

2nd, where is the jack stand?

3rd. you can clearly see the floor jack underneath the car and the handle against the front bumper.

4th. You have two guys taking up a majority of the "area" of the front of the car where there would be the jack stand.

so yes chills, enlighten us with your weather forcasting knowledge

Why wouldn't these guys leave the floor jack under the car? If they want to get the car off the stands quickly and back onto the ground leaving the floor jack in position makes sense. Yeah, I see the handle in the picture. Proves nothing.

The jack stands are under the car. There is plenty of room between the two guys for them to be there.

In the first and third picture there are jack stands, in the second picture they aren't readily visible. It stands to reason if someone as dumb as you knows to use jack stands that these fellows know to use them too.

because a floor jack takes up room underneath the car. (i know you have a hard time with math)

you seeing the floor jack, proves there is a floor jack holding the vehicle up. so where is the visual image of jack stands???

Quote:

really? room. I don't know what ghey shit you do with men while you choke them with a scarf and penetrate their glory hole.

Me working with jack stands, there isn't enough room. How do you swing a torque wrench or have any leverage?

Quote:

and in the first picture, the vehicle is being lifted by the jack with no stands. LOL

2nd picture has no image of jack stands at all. So if something isn't seen, it must be "highly" plausible, it is there. ROFL

this is coming from the guy who got 0wned few years back when you had no clue what "average" means when I was arguing with you.

Yup, these guys are so smart, they put the wheel chock backwards.(just like pilot said)

so let me know when you can zoom in on those jack stands.

Let's all bicker and nitpick the safety practices of some random guys in a picture of a car.

Nice car. I really want to participate in a LeMons race one day. Anyone that runs the local one need an extra mechanic?

Chills is taking it pretty seriously. He left a neg rep stating he wants to fight because I know where to place a wheel chock. Typical mentality of Naperville elitists.
